Chocolate Strawberry Overnight Oats

I am the worst at making sure I eat breakfast so overnight oats are a life saver! These chocolate strawberry oats are a favorite of mine. They take no time, make breakfast so easy and they taste amazing! They're also great because they don't require heating up, they're just as good cold as they are warm. If you want a little protein boost in the morning you can also add in a spoonful of your favorite protein powder.



Ingredients for one portion: repeat for however many you intend to make.

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup oat milk (or your preferred milk)

  • 1-2 tsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 2 strawberries


Directions:

  1. In a jar add the oats, honey, cocoa powder, and oatmilk, close the jar and shake.

  2. Next chop up the strawberries, and either place on top of the jar contents or in a separate small container.

  3. Place the jars in the refrigerator overnight.

  4. In the morning, you can mix int he strawberries and eat cold, or heat the oats for 2 minutes then top with the fresh strawberries and enjoy!

(They stay good in the fridge for up to a week)
