This is a sauce you will most definitely get lost in. The sauce for these wings goes good on everything, but with crispy wings its a killer combination!
Sauce Ingredients:
½ cup honey
4-5 bulbs garlic
Olive Oil
Kosher salt
2 tbsp chopped parsley
½ tbsp paprika
½ tbsp red pepper flakes/ Aleppo pepper
Wings Ingredients:
1 pack chicken ‘wingets’
¼ cup corn starch
1 tsp adobo seasoning
1 tsp Aleppo pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp ground black pepper
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
Grab a baking sheet, and a metal rack (this will allow air to flow under the wings and they'll be extra crispy. Set a baking sheet with a rack placed in it to the side.
In a bowl combine all of the dry ingredients for the wings, then add the wings to the bowl so each wing is completely covered in the dry rub.
Place on the metal rack, not touching. Place in the oven, cook for 25 minutes, then flip and cook for another 25 minutes.
For the sauce, grab another baking sheet, slice the tops off of each garlic bulb with a knife. Then grab 4 sheets of foil, add a bulb to each sheet and create a pocket, add about 1-2 tbsp olive oil and a sprinkle of kosher salt to each packet. Fold each one up and place on the baking sheet. Put the sheet into the oven with the chicken, and cook for 45-50 minutes.
Once the garlic is finished, pour the oil from each packet into a bowl, allow the garlic to cool then squeeze the garlic from each bulb into the same bowl (it should be very squishy).
To the same bowl add the honey, parsley, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
Mix thoroughly till you have almost a smooth sauce. Taste the sauce and add salt and extra honey to taste.
Once the sauce is finished, toss the wings in the sauce until they are completely covered, and enjoy!
